today i only had a half day at work [ woo hooOO! ] and took off at the stroke of noon. when i�d left, i had this feeling like �what am i going to do with myself?� and then came to the conclusion that dammit, i am just going to relax today ... chill out, get some stuff done around the house, and just let the day melt away without worrying about all the things i�ve got to get done.

one of the things that did was pick up some �odds and ends� that i need around the house. i took a tour of the plethora of �dollar stores� in my area, and picked up a bunch of crap. YAH crap!

• a scoooper for the kitty litter
• ice cube trays
• sponges
• tupperware
• musky rose, gardenia, and mulberry incense
• an insence �ash� catcher
• two smelly candles

tonight corona, spike, scabby and i are heading up to ikea, so that we can help them pick up some of the things that they need for their apartment. i am hoping to find a rug for the living room and a bathmat for the bathroom, a frame for the painting that scabby gave to me, and coasters for my coffee table which is so completely COVERED in drink rings that it�s starting to look like a puddle in a rainstorm.

that was a lame-ass analogy.

ooH! my camera seems to be working! i bought some new * good * batteries, and it isn�t going empty as soon as i turn it on now * knock wood * ... so here�s a picture of my violet sitting in the sun that i took this afternoon, after making portabella mushroom burgers and tater tots for scabby and corona for lunch.
