tracing states

it is a sunny day in toronto. it's not too cold, you know, just the right "shade" of cold for this time of year. i wish that i had a bench to sit on when i smoke outside, but it has about 35 cm of snow on it. tough luck for me.

my mother called me last night and asked if she and her boyfriend could come over and watch the superbowl with us, but unfortunately i had to tell her that i wasn't watching the superbowl, that spike and i had rented some movies. i left out the part that we might or might not watch those movies naked. i didn't think she'd need to hear it.

on the way to work this morning, someone on the streetcar coughed right onto the top of my head. i am wondering how well diseases can seep in through your head. 'cause i might just have anything. for real. leprosy. shingles. the pox. dutch elm disease. you do NOT know what kind of nastiness is floating around in parkdale.

today my job is a thrilling thrill a minute thrill ride of thrillesque thrillifying thrills. i have a huge map with a very low dpi that i am using to trace every state, province, and territory from. is there an easier way to do this? probably. am i going to do it the hard way anyway? you betcher ass, captain spanky.

re-reading the last paragraph i wrote has made me crave little tiles of purple gum that taste like soap.
