okay so tonight spike and i were watching "Nick and Jessica: The Newlyweds: ... it was the first time i'd seen it, firstly 'cause i don't have cable, and secondly 'cause i usually wouldn't watch something like that, but i'd seen SNL on Saturday and it had peaked my curiousity, so when i'd heard it was coming on, i asked spike to leave it on ...

the funny thing about it was, at the beginning of the show, "nick" and "jessica" were in a pool swimming around, and nick goes: "baby, can i have a hummer?" and i was all "oh my gawd!!! did he just ask her to give him head?????" and spike is like "i think so!!" and i am like "holy shit!"

but then like ten minutes later he's driving around his neighbourhood in a brand-spanking-new hummer, and i turned and said to spike "okay, that's the difference between you and me, if you'd asked me if you could have a hummer, i would have been like: 'drop your pants, big boy!' "

... which is exactly the reason why spike and i don't have our own reality show.
