okay so i am a wicked procrastinator. i've been meaning to update my diary for days now [ i really have no excuse, now that i have a new computer, but do i do it anyways? noooOoooo ] 'cause there's really big news! Rocketbride has had her baby!

his name is Blake Donald and he was born on monday [ which is also the birthdate of my girl amy's son .... oooOOh! ] weighing in at 8lbs 12oz. Rocketbride reports that the labour was hell, but she made it through and the family is happy and healthy. i am popping in for a quick peek tonight to see how they're doing. make sure to send them congratulations!

been busy as a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest this week ... went to london to visit spike's parents last weekend, did some christmas shopping and finally got to see Kill Bill [ which kicked ASS by the way ... can't wait to see the second part! *wiggle* ] and gathered tonnes of knitting supples. spike's mom was nice enough to give me her old knitting bag [ it's suede ...! oooOOoh! ] and a selection of old yarn and needles. my needle collection is growing! i quickly knit up a scarf for spike and i liked it so much, i'm making one for myself now. wooo!

went to see Mindless Self Indulgence at the guvernment on monday, met up for beers and crying [ did i mention my dad is a big fat ass, and i am going to stop talking to his side of the family for a while ...? well, i'm mentioning it now ] and last night i cooked a whole chicken [ my first time! ] and watched survivor [die burton!!! die!!! ] with spike and put up the christmas tree. tonight is baby-visiting and a birthday party for my friend sleevin', and then tomorrow is spike's company christmas party [ free beer! free food! ] which should be fun.

this diary has become one of those 'report the events of my life' kind of things [ as if anyone cares!?!?! ] but until i have more time [ and stop procrastinating ] i won't be able to write anything more in-depth.
